ANKEA?
Ankea Festival is an exploration into the world of alternative music.
The festival takes place at the Hiedanranta industrial site, a lakeside hub for street art and food culture just minutes from the center of Tampere. On 5–6 June 2026, Ankea Festival will feature 21 acts from musical genres with limited representation at summer festivals in Finland. At least so far.Performing acts Friday 5th of June:

There will be no VIP/priority tickets. We aim to provide equally great facilities to all our guests.
The festival area is 100% accessible and (mobility) assistants are welcome in the company of the ticket holder.
Ankea Festival is an asshole-free zone. Everybody else (over the age of 18) is warmly welcome!

FESTIVAL AREA & ARRIVAL?

Festival area:
Ankea Festival is held outdoors in a former factory site next to lake Näsijärvi. The area consists of two open air stages, plenty of places to sit and the best food & drinks we could come up with. More info to follow soon.Arrival from Tampere city centre by tram or train:
The festival is easily accessible by local transport options like tram and bus lines from Tampere city centre.
Tram line 1 will get you straight to the nearest tram stop (TEHDAS A) from Tampere City centre. This is by far the easiest and most convenient way to arrive and leave the festival.
Bus lines 80 and 82 are moving between Tampere central Square and Hiedanranta E stop from where you will have a 600m walk to Ankea gates.

Tampere is one of the most beautiful cities in Finland (if not the whole world). Why not make the most of it and arrive on foot or by bicycle. The festival area is located right next to Lake Näsijärvi 7km west from Tampere central square. You can leave your bicycle right next to the festival area.Tampere offers a brilliant city bike system with stations all over town, including 3 stations in Hiedanranta. Cloakroom: There is a cloakroom service right next to the festival gates and it is operating in the festival opening hours.
Drinking water: You may fill your empty bottle with clean drinking water throughout the day in an allocated place in the festival area.
Payment methods: Only card payments are accepted at Ankea Festival. We recommend contactless payment to be used as your main method of purchase.

WRISTBAND EXCHANGE?
All tickets will be changed to wristbands when arriving to Ankea. Wristband exchange is located next to the festival gates.
Advance wristband exchange is also arranged at the festival week in Tampere. More info to be shared on this soon.

FOOD AND DRINKS?
We are going to treat you really well. Ankea Festival will have some of the best local food trucks the city can offer. We will be serving craft beer, good wine and coffee as well as proper drinks. More info soon.

MERCHANDISE?
Band and festival merchandise will be available for purchase at Ankea. More items per band than at most festivals and way cooler festival merch than you’d expect (ok, now we’re just bragging, but make sure to check it out). More info to follow.

SECURITY, FIRST AID & SAFER SPACE GUIDELINES?
Security:
All attendees will go through a security check every time they enter the festival area. This inspection is done by our security staff at the gates.Allowed items:
• Empty 0.5L transparent water bottle (no glass)
• Medicines (with prescription)
• Snack bars or similar for valid reasons
• Sunscreen
• MakeupProhibited items:
• Laptops and tablets
• Umbrellas
• Camera tripods
• Bicycles, scooters, skateboards
• Glass bottles, jars, and cans (regardless of contents)
• Alcohol and illegal substances
• Firearms, knives, or blunt weapons
• Multi-tools
• Explosives
• High-visibility vests/jackets
• Food (small snacks like bars allowed)
• Fireworks, torches, lasers
• Heavy chains
• Animals
• Camping chairs, strollers, or pramsSecurity personnel reserve the right to deny entry with any other object they deem inappropriate or unsafe.
First aid:
Ankea Festival grounds will include a first aid station with trained medical staff. Location of the first aid will be informed once we publish the festival are map.Our on-site medical team can treat minor injuries directly at the venue and provide immediate first aid if needed. If you or someone nearby requires assistance, please contact any festival staff member, first aid worker, or security officer.
Safer space guidelines:
Everyone is welcome at Ankea Festival just as they are.Please keep in mind that we do not tolerate disrespectful behavior, such as:
• Discrimination based on ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender expression, religion, body type, socioeconomic background, mental health, or ability.
• Hate speech or offensive jokes that may hurt others.
• Catcalling or any other form of harassment.
• Disrespecting someone’s personal space or touching someone without consent.
• Disruptive intoxication.
If you experience or witness any such behavior, please speak to our staff.
