Since releasing their debut album in 2019, UK-based ’Ihlo’ have slowly but surely begun carving a space for themselves within the progressive metal space. Five years in the making, Ihlo’s  follow-up album ’Legacy’ marks a major step forward for the British outfit, capturing their growth from rising newcomers to a confident force in the UK modern prog scene. 

The band takes influences from across the modern metal scene, focusing on tight  grooves and explosive riffs intertwined with soaring melodies that dig deep into a pool of emotion. Combine this with a wide range of electronic tones and detailed sound design, wrapped up in a hard-hitting production package, Ihlo’s music encapsulates a heavy explosion of catharsis. Ihlo is another wonderful act making its live debut on Finnish soil at Ankea 2026.
