Originally founded as a solo project of Neige and later expanded into a trio, the French post-black metallers Alcest continue to blaze with their unique trail through the underground metal world. Bringing an unique perspective to the black metal scene: wherein beauty, fragility and melody co-exist with the fast, furious aesthetic of true extreme metal. Alcest have steadily established themselves as a unique force, both with a series of acclaimed albums and a sturdy reputation as a transcendent live act.

Alun perin Neigen sooloprojektina alkanut ja myöhemmin trioksi laajentunut ranskalainen post-black metal -yhtye Alcest on raivannut oman, ainutlaatuisen polkunsa metallimusiikin underground-kentällä.
